Troubleshooting

If you're having issues with your Model Speaker, here are a few quick solutions:

🔊 The model is NOT that loud.

  • Make sure your device volume is turned up.
  • Check if the speaker is set on a Hard surface like a Countertop or Wooden Desk or Nightstand. Please note that the sound will be compressed if set on a soft surface like a couch or cushioned chair. 
  • Try a different song. Some Songs/Shows sound louder than others especially on YouTubeâ„¢ or Spotifyâ„¢. (Try this Instrumental to test Bass and Sound.)
  • Confirm you are using an outlet box that is rated 5v and more than 1A (2-3A is sufficient.)

📶 I can't connect to another device.

  • Manually Disconnect the Model from your Device by going under Settings, selecting the model usually found as "DaBT" or "Scalelifts Model Car" and pressing "Disconnect." Then Unplug the model for 3 seconds then plug it back. (After that, try connecting with your new device.)

🔘 I can't turn it off

  • Manually disconnect the model from your device (the model will automatically power off in 5-10 minutes if not connected.) or turn Bluetooth Off. 
  • Quickest way is to Unplug the model from the outlet or quick connect. (Please note that before cutting all power, be sure to pause to stop whatever music you are listening to. (Failure to do so may result in speaker damage if unplugged while playing.)
